So I am considering selling off 2 piggie ponies to be able to purchase a DOT Sha. There is just something about him that I am in love with!
This would be my first doll, I would start with something not so expensive but I am just not that into the other dolls Ive seen here.
So to help make my decision, I want to see your DOD's, and I want to hear your DOD stories!

my friend has DOC Petcha, beautiful doll
Here's a picture of her with all my pullips...and the box that had my AOD Wang Zi inside, hehe.
Kind of a bad picture though...but it's all I got.

I think they are very lovely also! I wish I had one too, but they're too expensive for me. Maybe one day I'll sell off all my other dolls to afford one of those.... lol... probably not though. I can't wait to see other's pictures of them!
Question about DoD.... what size of DOD would be the closest size to a pullip, (not including their huge heads of coarse.... hehe). If I ever did get one, I wouldn't want her to be huge, I kinda like the size of pullips.... bigger than barbie, but not as big as 'My Size Barbie'.

I don't know exactly, but:
DOT is SD size - 60cm
DOC is MSD size - 45cm
and pullips are like...30cm or something like that(?)

yes, the clothes are not included.
Nor is the face-up, unless you tell it to.

IMHO, Dream of Doll is a little overrated. Their dolls look really, really different in person than they do in the heavily photoshopped website photos. I've owned two DoDs, and found new homes for both. They just didn't click with me for some reason. They are lovely, but just not for me, I guess.

the dolls are very expensive, but everyone I know who's owned one says it's worth it. *shrugs*

I'd suggest the second hand market for DOD, there's always a few on DoA and they tend to include clothes/face up/wigs etc
I had 2 DOC at one point but I sold them to fund even more expensive dollies I wanted more. I think they are ok for the price, if you are looking for a cheaper BJD, though DollZone, Angel of Dream and Bobobie are also cheaper and I've prefered my dolls from those brands.
Here are some pics of my DOC Tender Too who I sold recently. I actually liked him a lot, I got him originally second hand for around $300 with wig, face up and eyes:
