Has anyone seen the new 50th anniversary Barbies? I was in Wal-Mart this morning and found some repro Barbies to commemorate the 50th anniversary. They have the 1959 repro, a 1962 bubblecut (brunette), a 1967 Twist 'n Turn (redhead), 1971 Malibu, 1977 Superstar, and 1986 rocker Barbie. I bought the 1977. The Superstar head mold is one of my favorites. Just thought I'd let all the Barbie fans here know.

Oh, I saw those too! I was drooling over them but at the time I was pretty much broke and couldn't afford them. =(

i saw them last weekend at TRU, and I really want the Rocker Barbie!!! I had her as a kid, and she was one of my faves!!!

You might be able to find an original Rocker Barbie for cheaper than what you'd pay for the one in stores right now.

I love the 1950's version, the one with the long black dress - very sleek!

I am in love the the malibu reproduction set solely because of the lemon kick outfit. It's my favorite mod set.
