I'll (hopefully) get my first BJD in a few weeks. She's in the making process currently. What bothers me is that lots of doll owners seem to spray their doll's face with MSC. Do I have to do the same with my cutie and what would be the benefit or disadvantage?

MSC is good stuff, but if you use the UV cut it yellows and ruins the face-up. I honestly would say with the ZM finishing powder spray if you're simply protecting a company face-up. However if you're doing your own and want a good in between layers MSC is good for those as long as you finish it with the ZM. The only reason I say ZM is because it doesn't yellow (or so I've heard it's newer so we can't know for sure). Plus it's cheaper and looks just as good.

N/p and if you can't usually you can find people on DoA who are willing to buy it for you then ship it to you.

If she comes with a face-up, you don't really need to spray her again because the company seals it. But if you're doing your own face-up, I'd definately recommend some MSC. It's hard to find at certain times of year, but it's great stuff.
