I was on Twitter not too long ago and someone Tweeted about Breyers - specifically, the adorable Wind Dancer line. Can anyone tell me more about them? How big are they? Do they have names? Pictures?

I'm really curious!

i don't collect wind dancers, but i've bought a couple for my younger cousin. they're colorful, winged horses; very fantastical and pretty. here's the link to the breyer products page so you can get an idea: www.breyerhorses.com/p...?line=wind

hope that helps. Smile someone else here probably knows more.

Last I heard, there are about three sets of releases for about 11 adults and 6 babies(?) EDIT: plus four new little ones released that I don't have

They are a little smaller than a G3, but with big wings.

They are bigger than a Stablemate, but smaller than the Paddock Pals. If you are planning to put them on a shelf, plan for lots of space because their wings spread out a lot! They are very pretty though.

They are lovely, we have a few here including the glow in the dark babies who are really lovely. There are also new plushies and as well as some coloring book and story book on them. Best to check Breyers site in the link that sarabear gave. They show up at Kmart sometimes as well as Tuesday Morning and if you have a tack store by you that carries Breyers they migt be able to get some for you. On the adults there wings do flop so like Airiel plan a lot of space unless you hang them from the ceiling.

I really like these too!
I have Kona (dark purple adult one) and the detail is really super. Whoever they got to sculpt these did a great job they seem really realistic. My problem with them seems to be the price because they're pretty small (except the wings) but they're like 10 or 11 for 1. I think a lot of the cost went into the very fancy box they come in (why!) it has all sorts of details and a feathers handle.
I'd collect more of them if they werent so expensive like that.

I don't usually care for Breyers since I am more of a fantasy horse than realistic horse fan but these are cool.

Oooooh, pretty! I've never actually seen one, but then again, places I go that you can find Breyers at these days are rather few and far between. Might check out this big tack store I know of if I'm out that way - I like Kona and Sumatra! How heavy are they? Would they hang well from fishing line if I wanted them "flying"?

I have the first two and last two from the set and they really are very pretty. The detail on them is pretty amazing.

For some reason the first two sets of them released never sold too well here so I haven't seen any of the newer ones in stores. I have had to get the ones I have off of eBay for the most part.
