How long do you suppose it will take for the steampunk Eos to sell out? I want to wait until my next paycheck to order her. Also, Does anyone know the length of her hair? I can't really tell under her hat and all her clothes

I'm not sure how quickly she will sell out, I think it will depend on how popular she is, or becomes. The Comic Con exclusives were really cheap and widely available in the beginning, but once they sold out the first time around, their price doubled and even tripled in some cases. The Wizard of Oz set was also exclusive and released in limited supply, and while the male characters are a little bit easier to come by, Dorothy has remained elusive since her initial release. I've never once seen her for sale. On the other hand, the Haute and Haute NY exclusives took forever to sell out and actually went down in value before going up.

I think from all the hype they've received since the prototypes images were revealed, that it's safe to say that the Steampunk will be reasonably sought after. I'd suggest that the sooner you can reserve one, the better, but the tides could turn either way. It's anyone's guess as to when/if she will be available again once she sells out though.

It looks like Eos' hair is really long and wavy, with bangs contouring her face. Her hair length appears to reach the back of her heels.

Good luck in getting Eos jackalope! You'll have to post a lot of pictures if you order her!

They usually do this when their preorder limit is reached. I suppose she will be available right after her release,.. if there are some Eos left. There are only 2000 Eos worldwide (not much considering the big Asian market).

Nooooo!!!! I just told myself I wasn't getting any more dolls and I love that Pullip! I'm never going to survive this release as well as the Egyptian set presumably coming out later in the year.....lol.

My boyfriend just heard me say aloud that I loved the new Pullip and I could hear him sighing despondently from the other room. Looks like I'm going to have to sell some ponies to clear up some shelving space. There's also a Pullip I got a few months ago that I'm not as attached to as I had hoped, so I'm thinking about possibly selling her as well.

Yikes, $150? The prices on these dolls keeps going up, and I don't know about how everyone else feels, but the Type 4 stock outfits I've seen so far have been very cheaply made compared to past releases. I know that a lot of the releases have been collaborations lately, but I hope the standard cost doesn't get any higher, because the quality just isn't justifying it anymore. These releases look nice from pictures though, so maybe now that Jun Plannings back on board, things will improve.

Thanks for the links! I'm willing to bet that PS will have them for less. Shana always seems to be $5-$15 behind everyone else in initial cost.

I think I am save from the July releases^^. The outfits are fabulous, but otherwise they don't cry "buy me". But it's nice seeing the quality go up with Groove's taking over of JP.

Mandy85 - Yeah I'm pretty fed up with the constant rise in price as well, that's why I refused to get Eos even though I'll probably regret it later as I really adore her I'd rather get my grail BJD (who's around $300) than two expensive new Pullips... I've set my limit at $115 for any Pullip, Imma try to stick to it, so I hope Tiphona isn't more... although I think she will be >_<
