Hmm there was a post about polymer clay being safe - let me see if I can find it.

Ah here it is:

you are making it harder than it really is.

just line a cookie sheet with foil, put the pony in the oven according to the package instructions and you'll be just fine.

if your mom doesn't want you using her cookie sheets (which i can understand) see if you can't go to the thriftstore and pick up an old one that you only use for your clay.

yea all the advice you've gotten is 100% sound. theres nothing wrong with baking a pony with polymer clay in your oven, it doesnt destroy your oven or baking sheets or anything lol

*pokes the twitching* Lol, ok well as soon as mom and dad leave for work.. I'll start cooking.. But here is another question... Since I'm going to try and add more sculpty onto the one pony, should I repaint her main body color first or wait till after I get the sculpty baked?

don't paint until you've baked everything. your paint will peel and crack.

Hmm I guess it just depends on the paint and paint thickness Huh

ususally it will crack if you paint it before you bake it. Apparently, there is an exception to every rule, but if you want to be on the safe side, paint it after you bake. Big Ups
