If I had to guess I would say around July/August. That is usually when the "fall" waves are released anyways.

Yeah I can't quite get over the 3.5 mold. It's soooo ugly. They don't even resemble horses anymore (I think their heads look quite...turtle-ish).

My first reaction was horror, but after looking at them for a while, I actually find the Cotton Candy and Applejack figures adorable!! And it's great to see Spike again! It's also a breath of fresh air that they are not any of the dreaded Core 7.
I wonder what they're for and when they'll be available??

Of course I don't want them to replace "real" size ponies with brushable hair and all, but I think they're really cute nonetheless! Maybe they'll just be a different line of ponies, like how there are regular ponies as well as Ponyville ponies.

No sightings on them yet. I would at least like to know more about them. I wish sometimes that Hasbro would do a press release along with the toy fair photos.

This may have been asked before, but...I've been on a bit of a pony-hiatus recently (still can't afford to buy them right now)...but my question is...are ALL the new ones going to be these big-head things? I'm not that fond of the chibi look, myself (still better than the G2s in my opinion, but...) so if they are going to all have the big heads, I probably won't be buying any. (They were so pretty before, why'd they have to go and change them...) Also not a fan of multiple versions of the same character. The 'designer' and 'comic con' ones look good, but...well, I can't afford to go to a convention right now, let alone buy 'special run' ponies that probably cost more than the regular ones (can't even get the regular ones right now)

EDIT: Woah....didn't see that latest photo till just now. That's....different. If they do release these...that will be the first official unipeg (that I know of)
