This is a neat thread! It only makes me wish all the more fervently that I had been born a scant decade sooner. |
I don't think so. Sprinkles is also a different shade of pink. I think they are prototypes! ^^ I have seen a greek peachy with those colors... How I whis it wasn't that expensive!

I LOVE the fairybrights. Does anyone know where the picture came from?

The Fairy brights (didn't realize they had a name o.O ) picture, Hasbro brought those production drawings to the Memphis fair, I think it was to be the back card.
I FINALLY found my memory card with my close ups I took of them! Sad though that I only have an 'extreme' close up on the white one -.-
In the process of uploading them to show...
And with the cookery pony, you think they would keep with it when they had her in the UK comics before they changed her out, heh. You could even try to win her and the others....
EDIT!:
HERE WE GO!
Even closer...
Green and orange stars!
And I thought these were balloons with lightening bolt like strings...but the more I look at it, I think it's a rocket = D
I wish I got more close ups like with the white one, but I hope those help =3

I think so too. Her haircolour is the typical colour that her normal hair looks like when put into a scan or something.

What pose would those Fairy Brights have been in if they were made? I'm getting an idea for customs!

Wow, so many pretty prototypes out there. I've had so many dreams about finding the FT baby Sundance that it's just heartbreaking to wake up and realise she's not there.
Those Fairy Brights are just darling. I imagine them in flutter pony poses or flutter sized at least.
And on the subject of flutters, I'll love to stumble across this Rosedust as I think that pose suits her so much better:

I'm surprised no one mentioned the animal friends were supposed to come with little girl dolls like baby Sundance comes with Megan. And there's a picture of that somewhere.

Gotta agree--and the MO Sprinkles is in fact pink. . .I know b/c I ordered this set back c. 1988 when it was available! She is basically the same color as Firefly. I really wish they'd made her to look like the blue prototype from the Waterfall box. . .

Awesome pictures of the Fairy brights. These are definitely going on my list of needed customs!

Those Fairy Brights pictures are amazing! I wonder if they would've had tinsel in their hair? What with the sparkles in their hair in the pics. I am so going to have to customize one of these.

Ooh, thanks for posting those close ups of the Fairy Brights! They are so pretty. It's like they're alien ponies or something. What a terrible shame they never made it into production. =(
I think the purple one with white hair's symbol looks like a cloud with hearts on it, and then lightning bolts coming down.
Oh, and Rosedust in that pose looks beautiful! It's crazy how many ponies were changed before being released.
