Greetings everypony! I'm new here and was encouraged to start a thread sharing my own pony art.


I'm a comic fan as well as a pony fan and wanted to draw some of the Friendship is Magic cast as the Lantern Corps. from DC comics. Twilight Sparkle as a Red Lantern, Fluttershy as a Violet Lantern / Star Sapphire, Rarity as an Orange Lantern and Rainbow Dash as a Green Lantern.
(I want to be a full-time comic penciller and even gotten to work with Gail Simone who is sweet and awesome.)


I just doodled this rough scribble of a pony OC I had in mind, 'Cappuccino.' She has floofy hair like milk foam and always has bags under her eyes.

Thank you Lina! I'll need to colour the cards with-in the next day or so too. They've been sitting un-finished on my desk for nearly a week now.

It's for an art competition / give away thingie by someone on another pony board. It's my OC Cappuccino and their OC Rapid Care.

Great style! Love your OC She has soft features, like the taste of cappuccino. The hair is perfect!

skdfhghakf I love your work! It's so- what's the word I'm looking for? Sleek? Stylized? It's very unique. :D I don't know how to describe it but I absolutely love it! You'll definitely be able to go full-time as an artist with your talent. ^^

Also you drew them with Lantern Corps rings so there's that, lol! <3

I know that someone else has a caffeinated-beverage inspired character but I tried to change up my design a little so they don't look the same.

Thank you so much Chocalatka and ZennaBug, I'm slowly getting the hang of drawing ponies. I want to make my poses more dynamic which is getting easier with practice.
