i dunno if this is old, but i've just found this pic browsing on Tumblr what it seems to be a Glimmer Wing Rarity^_^



Altough this makes more sense than the RD one, i 'd really like to see new ponies from the cartoon series (or any new pony maybe also with a new gimmick as scented or GID ones)...
What do you think?

If this means they're doing a bug theme (Butterfly Rarity, Dragonfly Rainbow Dash), then this might be really cool and I want to see what insects they go with for the others! Still wish it were new characters, but I've seen other toy lines take an idea that only makes sense for one character and apply it to all the others, so I guess I can deal with that...

oh wow! Everyone who didn't really like the RD one said they wanted to see Rarity (including me) and here she is! Thanks a ton for posting this picture.

It's just a shame the wings don't look more like the ones Twilight gave her in Episode 16 "Sonic Rainboom" with that spell

But I have to say, big fancy wings suit Rarity much more nicely :] awesome to see moar new ponies <3

This is great! I knew there was going to be a Rarity, because it'd be silly to have a gimmick line with only 1 pony. Now where's my Fluttertree toy Hasbro? We're waiting!

I ll second this...don't get me wrong I do appreciate Hasbro releasing different items but I am rapidly going to get fed up if all we see are the main 6 in different variations...I will be quite happy however if they do lots of characters in the small pony mould and then they can do all their playsets and weird releases with just TS, AJ, etc

People should accept we will be seeing a LOT of re-releases. At least it won't be only re-releases like with core 7. This show is pretty much about these 6 ponies, so it's only logical we will be seeing a lot of them.

And at least this is an interesting re-release..not like that "spring Fluttershy" that just had a flower on her leg. Now that was poor.

I really like this set and would love to own each character. Yes, even Rainbow Dash. : P I still think she looked kinda neat.
Also, at this point i'm more concerned about the lack of poses rather than the lack of characters.

oh i dont doubt that we will get a lot of releases of these 6 but at the same time it would be nice if the line could exist without complete dependence on the show - like g1 and g2 - i think i sometimes just worry that after releasing so many individual ponies so early will Hasbro continue to create new characters or keep going back to the 6

all in all i may have to accept the re-releases...but i dont have to like them! lol - and this one is definitely not for me! but then i didnt like the light up ones either.

I'd get her but the placement of the wings on her body bug me too much :s anybody else with this problem?
