I have been putting up with this for a long time and it is driving me nuts.
It is very difficult to describe but I really need some help with this!

Whenever I try and make a post, everything is fine until I am about seventeen lines down. Then the screen keeps bouncing back to the top part of the screen. I can continue to type, but I can't see what I am doing. I can't cut and paste, I can't highlight to move things around etc. It is very frustrating when I try to edit my sales page. For a day or two another computer worked fine and then it started doing the same thing as well so it must be a problem with the site. Can someone tell me what the heck is going on so that I can update my sales page or leave longer posts without driving myself nuts?

ETA 10-28: Can a Mod or someone that knows this website look into this problem? It is so annoying I don't even want to post anymore let alone try and sell anything. I have my G1's on a separate Classifieds page because it is easier than dealing with this issue. It would almost be simpler to just throw it all out than deal with the headaches this is causing me!!

I can't help you, but I do know what you're talking about! When I first joined the Arena, mine did that too. Eventually it stopped, though. Hopefully, at least, it'll resolve itself on its own. I understand how annoying it is, tho ><

Happens to me all the time I've just taken to Select All, copying into a word document, editing, and copying it all back.

Happens to me too. I just work in another application like Notepad/Word and copy it over.

That happened to me about a year or so ago. I found where someone else had the same problem and fixed it by using the compatibility view option in their browser. I tried that and everything has worked fine since then.

That happens to me on my hubby's computer, but not any other ones.

Used to happen to me too. You just need to click the compatibility view button at the top (if you are using internet explorer) it's the one that looks like an A4 paper ripped in half.
Don't do it while you have halfway through typing a message though - I learned that the hard way

I know what you mean Skylar! this is what has been happening to me too over the last few days (Cherry -this is the hiccuppy thing I was tellin' you about ) I've never had it happen before, and its reeeaally frustrating I'm gonna try what Sebby suggested - lets hope we can get it sorted out soon

Unfortunatly, I use AOL and so far, nothing seems to be helping. It is very annoying!

I use to have that problem when I used Internet Explorer. I switched to Firefox just for this reason and never had a problem with it again.

My only suggestion for you is to try out "Firefox" or "Chrome," both are free and should take care of the problem, according to the resident tech-geek.

It is a compatibility issue with your browser, not the site.
