After reading this thread I hit the compatibility view buton as breyer600 suggested and it solved my problem =) It seems to get turned off if your cookies get cleared though but it's easy enough to turn back on.

I think I figured it out! At least for tonight after dooing the CV thing it seems to be normal again. My eyes are not aching from looking at a bouncing screen after triyng to do stuff that takes longer than it should.
