Does anyone know a site where I can order special edition G4 ponies intercontinentally (other than Ebay) if I'm under than 16? I don't think there are any places likes this, but.. hooves crosses!

Maybe you could ask your parents to get them for you if you give them the money? Thats what I did when I wanted something off eBay.

That's what I've been doing but the only Daisy Dreams and Rainbow Flash that are on there I can't get in time.. >.<

Outside of buying them from members here, I don't think I've seen them for sale elsewhere that will ship to the US.

I've seen them listed in the sales fourms for around $20 each I think.

I think that most sites have age requirements - 16 here, 18 on e-bay. I think etsy is 18 too. I am not aware of any sites that really allow someone under 16 to sell.

The age requirements on most sites have to do with contractual age. You can not sign a contract in the US and have it be valid until you reach 18 I think. In some countries, I am sure its as young as 16 but I am not aware of any countries that allow someone younger than 16 to sign a contract and have it be valid in a court of law.

Ask your parents. I opened an Ebay account and an Amazon account with my mom's permission (and her credit cards) when I was younger than 16. After I turned 18 I switched all the payment info to mine.

Brony, you can buy the ponies from dollhands You do not need your parents to set up an account for that.

Site rules simply state that you can not sell or trade here until you are 16.

Oh.. three people just canceled transactions with me because they said the rules stated that people under 16 could not purchase ponies from others..

Oneleo1 is right Berry, you are allowed to buy. Those people were mistaken.

What about trading? I wanted to trade a pink sparkly BB Twilight Sparkle for a purple one.

Not allowed to trade/swap/sell until you are 16, just buy.

Under 16s cannot trade/sell/swap, but it is perfectly fine for them to purchase ponies (as payment is usually sent first)

Selling, trading and swaping for underage members is against site rules, and can result in suspenision from the site.

But you can purchase them from Arena members

As a side note, sometimes underage buyers can make sellers nervous enough for them to cancel transactions.

Any number of things can go wrong (especially with paypal) and things have gone wrong with underage transactions in the past. Some of them were high dollar values and others were just a couple of dollars, but either way it still sucks.

For example, If the parents are the one who own the paypal account, and they do not recognise the transaction or did not authorize the purchase, they can do a charge back.

This poses issues when the item has been shipped, and the seller then ends up witout the item and the money for that item.

But for other sellers, if you have the money then they have no problems selling to underage members They are willing to take the risks involved, which obviously are a lot less than buying or trading with an underage member.

And in many cases, the risks of selling to an underage member are the same as selling to a member who is older than 16 with 0 feedback. but some sellers are nervous enough to avoid no feedback buyers as well, for whatever reasons they may have.

I see.. well.. for people who are nervous about underaged buyers, could I send them towards people who I purchased from before? Like posting feedback for swaps or getting feedback for Ebay
