I just pulled up the auction on my Iphone, and it does list as "shipping:free". Of course, once you click "see full details" and scroll all the way to the bottom, it also mentions asking about overseas shipping.

Unless you're willing to pay for the shipping however, I would nicely ask if she would mind cancelling your bid. Reiterate that you realize you made a mistake, but that based on the device you were using, it was an honest one. I'd avoid trying to put too much blame on her shoulders- maybe something along the lines of "crazy Ebay, they need to fix how these things show on mobile devices!". This will make it seem like you're both on the same side, and she's more likely to be willing to cancel the bid without a fuss.

If push comes to shove, contact Ebay. After all, it's not as simple as mis-reading $100 as $10.

The seller clearly made an honest mistake.
It does say free shipping so if you want to hold it against the seller I guess you are free to do so. I know I wouldn't though. I would consider how the seller feels in this case.

yum-yum, maybe you should try to make sure what the final shipping will be before bidding?
You had a similar problem in this thread:
www.mlparena.com/Forum...35678.html
That time too, making sure you knew the total shipping before bidding would have solved the problem.

All I'm saying is, if you just bid and hope for the best, of course there are going to be unnecessary problems and disagreements.

Made a second offer 60-40, she declinded that one as well.

"I think RPB is only acting honest, which is refreshing"

@tootie_tails; I though I explained that the seller deliberately overcharged me. Which is something else then what's happening now. ;)-

Since i really want them I'll go ahead a pay for the darn shipping.

It might have been phrased differently- but the sentiment was absolutely spot-on. Would you think it appropriate to steal something from a shop just because they didn't resolve an issue to your liking?

I'm sorry you'll end up having to pay the full shipping on what looked like a great deal. But you'll have your playsets! Smile And this is a great lesson for those of us that use Ebay on our mobile devices- always check the full auction. I don't do much more than look at auction pics from my phone; bidding is usually done on my faster PC. But I do travel, so it's good to know what to look out for if I were to bid while on my phone.

Since we seem to be rather going around in circles now I am locking this thread.
I hope that things go well for you from here, yum-yum!
