I'm still a bit miffed by what I've just en counted when I logged on tonight. I sold an item on the 30 Oct in my listing it states I can post till sat which would be the 5th Nov and I open my email to a New item not received case. I think I'm more shocked then anything, I have sent them a message asking why so I will be very interesting in the reply. I must say if this is how the person operates I have the ability to block them from further transactions don't I?

Yes you can block them from your future transactions. It sounds like there case has no grounds and should be dismissed pretty easily, but that is still a rude big hassle for no reason. Sorry

If it's ebay you'll want site map at the bottom---block bidder/buyer list under selling activities---Add an eBay user to my Blocked Bidder/Buyer List. Then just type in the username and submit prefs.

EEEEK! You can PM the name of this buyer if you want. Opening a claim BEFORE you have even shipped is just not acceptable behavior.

seriously some buyers on ebay are a nightmare when it comes to shipping expectations...its an auction site and they will be probably buying from individuals...you cant expect the same turnaround abilities as an online retailer!

its a pain but you should have no issue with getting the situation reversed as the claim seems a little uncalled for - even if they missed the date you could ship, the very least they should have done is message you about the item...

hmph, I think I'd refund and relist, if they are jumping the gun so early...and block them. :/ It doesn't sound like the person is very honest!

Gyah. I hate that people think that ebay shippers need to ship so quickly. u__u; hate it , hate it , hate it. It's like many of us are normal people, and most ~companies~ don't even ship quickly.

I ship within ~2 days tops, and I get still marked down for shipping time (even though most people receive stuff within ~5 days of paying). Sigh.

If you offer free shipping and just charge more for your item then they have to give you 5 stars for shipping. Plus fees are for total price so it's not like you'd be paying less.

you might wanna tell us their ID when you've finished dealing with them, cos I'm thinking none of us would want this person to buy from us, and yeah you should totally block them when its all sorted.

Thats just crazy. People have gone wackadoo on ebay lately. I would block them because, they are unreasonable...

What a nightmare! From past experience with people like this myself on ebay (hence my hatred for ebay LOL) they will be nothing but trouble from start to finish! My advice would be to refund and relist if you haven't already mailed out the item! Good luck! xx

That doesn't help with the shipping time star rating. Only the shipping cost rating..

To get a perfect 5 star rating for shipping time you have to input the tracking number within 24 hours :-/ Impossible for most people.
