Okay thanks for the anszers it clears a little bit 
However to be part of the Official swap you only need 7 references and here 10 ... lol I am fussy I know but for me the official swap must be higher in range than the unofficial one (as it is official), no ?
Well guess you do also what is better.

The difference is that for this swap, all the feedback can come from eBay etc. Whereas the official one you need feedback and references from pony related trades, which take a bit longer to get, especially if you're new.
It's kind of a trust issue, but it's not meant to be malicious

purplekittywuman is correct: the official is a bit strict (for good reason) and the unofficial is less so in order to allow others to participate.

I am still fairy new to the site but I would love to participate in the swap! However, I don't have any feedback pretty much anywhere. I have never sold anything online before D: So would I still be able to participate or no? (If not it's totally fine! I understand 100%!)

I have a question....I qualified for the official swap but missed the deadline to get my wantlist in, so I'm no longer actually part of it this year :-( Would I qualify to sign up for this one?
I can find seven of the eight secret words, searching for the other!
