Hi! I'm Dessa. Mine is a story I'm sure you hear a of these days. Became a fan of MLP via FiM, and slowly developed an appreciation for the old toys. The old shows? Not so much, except for 3.5 because it's so horrifying its entertaining.

Welcome! I've never seen the G3 show, is it really that bad? Also, have you seen Rescue at Midnight Castle?. It's not a LOT like FiM but they're similar.

I've seen parts of Rescue at Midnight Castle, and I give it credit for good animation. G1 is dece as far as 80s cartoons go. My Little Pony Tales? Weird. Just weird. G3 cartoons are bad, mang.
As for hobbies, Well, I guess I play Team Fortress 2, and I like to read a couple political blogs. But my hobby right now really IS ponies. I RP ponies over at canterlot.com, and I do pixel ponies! Yay! Actually, the G1 community's love of pixels is what made me wanna signup here. People just don't reckonize the skills anywhere else. Pixel boards don't care about ponies. Pony boards (FiM) don't care about pixels. I'm putting together a post for the art section.
And school. I go to school for CNA (Nurses aid) training, which sounds like a bad job, but they're hiring like mad.
