What do you think? Should I gently restore the eyes, or just leave them be?
What is he worth at the moment anyways? Last ones I saw when I was looking over two years ago had faded to turquoise...

So i followed your adwise and thanks to pinkkittywinks I got good photos I could use in the restoration.

The pony had quite a lot of original eyelines and the white parts of the eyes, so I tried to match those colors to the original and not paint over any original paint. I also tried not to make the eyes look too new and \"shiny\" and too tidy, cause he´s not that either

I totally vote for the restoration. Honestly, if I were to want to add her to my collection, I would find her much more appealing if she were less zombie-looking.

i would repaint them too. eyeless ponies scare me O_O

personally i would restore him too, but if you do don't forget to mark that you have repainted his eyes

prices are rather down right now and i would expect him to sell for about $50-$60ish

I am against the restoring kind of feeling, but the no eyes thing creeps me out as Zora said too... so I would give it a go!

I would restore as well but I am not very competent at doing that kind of thing so if he was mine I would find a lovely customiser to help out...

I would definately give him eyes but unless you're really good at painting them yourself, I would do what hathorcat said and get somebody really skilled to do it for you!

Since he's a HTF pony I agree with the others that you definitely want someone skilled to do the eyes. Many customizers do lovely work, but you want someone with a reputation for "factory-perfect" detail on the eyes . Congrats--he's a pony I'd love to have myself some day.

I was thinking around $40-50... mostly because of the eye! I would definitely get someone to repair the eye if possible.

I´m sure I´ll be able to fix that prince with these photos. It seems that the color of the eyes is pretty close to the color of the mane.

oh i am glad you are able to fix him.

they are a pale dusky blue like his mane you are right and the pupil and eye liner are a grey colour. i mix up grey and add a spot of brown
