Greetings, pony lovers. I'm a 21 year old English major with pony fever. =P I also work at Toys-r-us.

I loved the original cartoon when I was a kid, but unfortunately I didn't have a whole lot of pony toys. Even more unfortunately, I was convinced to part with most of my childhood toys when I was in high school, so... no more ponies. :c (G2s are expensive now, too! Grumble, grumble.)

I'm going to change that, though. c: Today I broke down and bought Fluttershy and Cupcake. I don't like the look of the G4 toys that much despite being an FiM fan, but after months of looking at ponies while at work... the ponies won. I'm not sure if I'll collect all the core ponies, but I definitely want to at least get a few more of the non-cores, especially Twinkleshine (and Luna!!!!).

I also won an auction on a super-lovely Starbeam today (and a Star Dasher for my dear boyfriend... whose collection is already way bigger than mine...). I flipflop a little, but I like G3 the best, I think, and want to acquire quite a few more of them. I like G2s' bodies but not so much their heads, so I might get more, but maybe not a ton. I used to think G1 looked a little derpy, but I've warmed up to them lately and found myself wanting a bunch of them too, haha. I tend to gravitate toward ponies who are blue or pink and have complementary or white hair, and I love star and moon cutie marks. <3 Here's hoping my pony collection grows (but not too quickly or else my wallet will cry).

I also want to try my hand at customs! I thought about doing it a few years back when Hasbro had those $4 blank ponies, but I didn't, and now I'm kicking myself.

It's so fun. He and I are totally going to play ponies when we get together IRL. This will benefit me more than him because he has a decent collection of G1-G3 and fakies from his childhood. We spent one night just figuring out what he had. xD

I notice Lagoona in your av. My boyfriend and I love Monster High, too. As usual, his collection is bigger than mine; I don't have any... yet. At some point I'm shooting for an original Clawdeen, original Draculaura, Spectra,and a classroom Lagoona. I also can't wait for Operetta and the custom sets! *3*

Oooh MH is great isn't it! I think Clawdeen is pretty hard to find now as she has been discontinued (the original one!)

Welcome Marionette! I think we all know about the pony fever from which you suffer. It's very hard on the wallet, lol. If you like MH dolls then check out the Dollhouse forum also because we have a lot of MH fans here too
