Okay so I was super happy, I finally got my ponies in the mail! I had complained in another thread how they took so long to get here. But I was ecstatic to get them today.



I got to open the box, and I see all the new wave ponies I didn't have. Feathermay, Plumsweet, Honeybuzz, Flitterheart, Feathermay.....wait what?



I look and I see two Feathermays. Instantly, my first thought is "Did they mess up my order?" >.< I double check and realize that I didn't even order a fith pony, there just happen to be an extra in the box. I double check to make sure I didn't accidentally order another Feathermay...which I didn't!

So I have this extra pony I didn't pay for. I kind of want to keep her or give her to someone for Christmas, but I'd feel dishonest doing that. Should I call Hasbro and offer to pay for her/send her back?

What would you do?

You should offer to pay for her or send her back. That's the only honest thing to do.

My guess is Hasbro added the extra pony as a 'thank you for your patience' guesture

I bet if you call them they will tell you its a gift as an appology for the delay, its not uncommon for companies to do that

Well, I went ahead and called Hasbro. (Cause I would have felt guilty if I hadn't...) I offered to pay for it, but they told me it was just a computer error and that I could go ahead and keep the pony.

So...yay! Free pony!

...though I'll probably give her to the Toys For Tots Christmas drive.

I'd say that if you really feel guilty about it then give them a call and tell them of the mistake. I honestly don't think they'll make you send it back though. I've heard of others calling Hasbro for a replacement pony when they've had factory errors and actually getting multiples in return, so even if it wasn't an intentionally kind gesture on their behalf, I don't think they'll sweat it over one pony.

I'd personally give them a heads up, just to clear my conscience. I've had something similar happen to me over shoes in the past and the company was happy to let me keep the extra pair.

That's cool that Hasbro let you keep the extra pony! And that would be really nice if you donated it to Toys for Tots... might as well spread the pony love.

Glad you told them! I'm always honest with things like that, because they usually reward your honesty like they did (eek I'm so manipulative ahha).
