Lavenda's creations (updated 19th Dec, npa & pony cards)

I've remembered a few images that I should share here, and since my interests cover a wide variety of mediums I thought using "creations" rather than limiting myself to cards or whatever makes this thread appropriate for anything!

I have found images of another card I want to share, but I need to edit them first... but I do have this, which was for my youngest daughters 3rd birthday (6 years ago!)

The muzzle is a little long, and the icing a bit blotchy because I used real, fresh raspberries to colour the icing and the seeds stood out a bit more than I thought they would but still, she loved it and that's all that matters!

This one's not really a creation, but I just came across it again. LOST fans should get a kick out of this...

I walked though the kitchen to find my kics playing on the bench... totally not staged, it totally reminded me of LOST. The rabbit just needed a number painted on it's side and it would have been perfect!

finally got that card image editted, using the same pony stamp (with original mane and tail) that I used for the Doctor Whooves card

here are the Christmas cards I have made over the last month or so. I usually do multiples of Christmas cards, saves coming up with more ideas, however I usually end up with more ideas than I have time for (which has happened once again). Must note down those other ideas so I can revist them next year! I haven't blogged these yet as some people who will be receiving them read my blog, so if you want more details you'll have to ask Poke Tounge

These first two I forgot to take a pic at an angle to get the shimmer on the bottom ornament oops. My original idea was for the second card, but when it came time to cut the black layer I just couldn't bear cutting up my flocked paper. After they were made I reminded myself the whole point of buying supplies is to use them... so I went ahead and made the second card, the original idea.

These next two I also forgot to get a pic at an angle to show the embossing better, so they look quite plain and simple (which was half the idea) but there is some extra subtle interest there.

This last card is for a special friend. My youngest daughter and her daughter are best friends, and both are horse mad. Her daughter has aspergers and ADHD, and after the first time my girls slept over there my friend commented on how wonderful it was to have someone else there to entertain her daughter! So they tend to sleep over every other weekend, or at the least spend one day of the weekend together. This friend and her daughter used to have a pony and go to pony club, and they have stayed in touch with one lady who has recently moved closer, and found closer land for her ponies and horses. So the weekends usually involve a visit to the horses as well. Although this friend is so great thankful that my girls give her a bit of down time from looking after her daughter, I thought she deserved a special card because she does give so much to my girls too.

I'm still planning on trying the Hasbro ponies with this stamp, colours are a bit of an issue though... some will require a lot of mixing with the colours I have!

thanks guys! Yeah, I just couldn't go past that face, even though of all the ponies she is like a G2 - my least fave!
