I just wanted to introduce these two little girls to the community~
(lily / リリ: pink ; popo / ポポ : yellow --- but I will probably rename them).


(they have decaying rubberband residue on their hair ;___;* not sure how to clean that up. )

I would also like to go out on a limb and say, I think the other set shown in the catalog with the stroller was also produced. These girls have drainage holes in them, and the other yellow takara baby that popped up this year didn't have that.



and yes, :3 it came with the tub (and all accessories, and stickers.)


and if anyone can translate japanese, i think this statement interests me most: (^^; I can probably translate it on my own, buuut, it's been almost 5 years since I took japanese classes) --- and I want to jump to conclusions that it mentions a monthly comic. .... O: ???

Yup, these are real, and they're super rare, but there are a good deal of fakies made of them. The most noticeable differences are that the fakies have painted-on noses, while the real ones have a separation in the plastic; and that the real ones have "Takara" written on the bottom.

Whoa, cool! So why are fake Takaras so expensive when they are essentially bootlegs? o_O
