Woah...the calandar thing is a great idea! I cant believe i didn't think of that! I'm not on here too often so I easily lose track of what week it is and how many I requested..I really try to be good so sometimes i will offer adoptables to sort of pay back in case i accidentally went over ...but I think i'll try the calandar thing that should really help!

As for the rule..i agree that it is a good one to have in place..but maybe 3 is alittle too low for some people...what if it was 5? At least that averages to almost 1 per day? Just a suggestion...

I don't mind the limit. 3 per week is actually quite a lot! You can only put so many adoptable in your sig at one time.
What really bothers me is when artists say 10 slots or something and they fill up and then people are still requesting.. so much that it gets to be like 20 or 30 requests over the limit. And there are posts with people saying "Hello! Artist is full!" and everyone just ignores them and STILL post a request.

It only takes a minute to glance back at the last few posts to see if they're full or not. And there few threads on the first page with this happening.

I guess there is nothing that can be done but it sure is annoying and spams the thread with pointless requests.

I agree. I don't mean to sound rude, but I am starting to get a little miffed about it.
Especially when it is a post right above theirs.
Whenever I am making a request I usually check the last page and see if anyone says that they are full or anything like that before I even start to type out a request.

That was one of the primary reasons for this post. It seems to have become a rather disturbing trend as of late. When artists are volunteering their personal time to make free art for all of us, the least we can do is read and respect their rules.

RE: Adoptions. When is a week over? Seven days from the last adoption request? Sunday to Saturday? I don't think I saw a description of this in the rules. (And, not in any way trying to be a smart-butt and make a problem when there doesn't need to be one.)

Start of a new week is considered to be Sunday, in terms of adoptable requesting.

I've always started my new week on a monday xD LMAO.
