Hi, I'm CadePony. One of my best friends recommended that I check out this site, so... here I am.

What you should know about me:

I'm a female adult with a very youthful spirit. I live in the United States, in the state of Michigan. I'm almost done earning an associate's degree in Internet Professional; I'm thinking of going into the field of User Experience, though I might go back to school to study photography.

As a little girl in the early 90s, I've had a handful of Ponies -- I'm guessing they're G1 to G2 Ponies -- and I've seen the movie as well as some of the TV series. But half-way through elementary school I lost interest in My Little Pony and developed other interests.

It wasn't until this year that I saw the designs for the Ponies in the new My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic show and thought, "OMG, they're way cuter than the Ponies I grew up with." Then I saw the Basic Ponies from the new show on toy shelves, and after receiving Rainbow Dash for my birthday back in April, I started collecting Ponies. I will hopefully be posting my Pony collection in the collection section of the forum soon.

So far, I've only seen a couple of episodes from the first season of MLP: Friendship is Magic, but it was enough to make me love the show. My top three favorite Ponies are Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Rarity.

I hope to get to meet new friends here and be active on here in the coming days.

Welcome to the Arena! It's great to see how many new pony fans the FiM series has brought in. Do you still have your childhood ponies or are you concentrating mostly on the G4 line at this stage?

I believe I still have some of the ponies I had as a kid, they're probably in a box somewhere in the basement. They're probably not in the greatest shape, though.

But for the most part, I'm concentrating on the G4 line, since I like the looks of them more than the previous generations of ponies.
