Also I have a question about G2s. I have nearly got all the 1998 and 1999 releases which were the only ones I wanted to get. Now I'm thinking about getting all the G2 ponies but I heard there were some really expensive ones, especially the twin sets. How much do these rarer sets go for on eBay and MLP Arena? What is the rarest and most expensive G2? Thanks for your help

Wish I had some answers on your G2 question, because I don't have any G2s and I was trying to figure out the same a little while ago. Maybe we can learn together.

The rarest G2s are the ones with variant hair colors, like the alternate Sea Breeze and blue-haired Ivy. I think those are $150-200, but I haven't seen them enough to know a more definite range.

Then there's Nosy + Click, and Study + Play, twins only available through a French magazine mail order. I think they're $250ish MOC? Maybe $100/pair loose? They don't come up for sale often either.

Most G2s aren't really that expensive, many staying under the $30 mark. There are of course some that go beyond that, like Copper Glow, Silver Glow, Golden Glow, Diamond Glow, and Romantica. Euro G2s that are complete with all their accessories can break that mark as well

I actually have one that I picked up at Toys R Us about a month ago by Jaru, using the same pirated box art as those glittery G3.5 fakies from Dollar Tree. xD It called it a "Sky Beauty" and has a label upside down... I kept her in the packaging just because it cracked me up so much!

There was only one left, and I got it for a dollar. I have no idea if they're still there or not, since I very seldom go to TRU. I know I have a picture of it somewhere, but I just need to find it...

Knowing Jaru, it's probably a fakie of a fakie, so my guess would be that the Ponies in the first pic are the originals and what I have is the copy. Jaru even copied the box art!



Unless it was Dollar Tree that copied the box art, but someone copied someone else and for some reason, I find that to be utterly hilarious. Maybe after my final tomorrow I'll run out to TRU and see if there are any more.

The originals to those pegasus were from the Barbie line. Dollar Tree used to have fakies of them 4 or 5 years ago packaged in 3's like the first picture. I think the Barbie line was called Magic of the Pegasus?
