Go for it rel! Energetic After maybe 10 minutes I got a sea pony with the grossest hair you could imagine (dry, matted, frizzy and overall disgusting to touch) into soft, shiny and only slightly frizzy with just cold water and a flat iron Flirty Pony She still needs some work, but it's a huge improvement accomplished

The flat iron I use was on clearance for like $10 or something cheap too and as you can see, the results have been great Flirty Pony

*runs upstairs to try and straighten ponies hair*
I have always been way to scared to try it out, but I know to do it damp now and I'm feeling confident. :3

Try with an inexpensive or baity pony first and on a low setting Smile My flat iron has 1-30 (30 being the hottest), and for normal pony hair I use 5, and 1 or 2 for ponies I want to be super cautious with, like Brazilians awake

when i style my ponies with straighteners i wash the hair first, then leave conditioner on it for a few hours, then rinse and comb the hair straight. my straighteners can be set to specific temperatures so i put them on 130ÂșC and run them over the hair in sections while it's still damp. i do this until i'm happy with how smooth the hair is getting, and then re-damp the hair before winding it around the neck/leg/something round, and wrapping it in looroll and a snag band and leaving it to set overnight.
it works SO well, thoroughly recommended Happy
