Aflame and I are going away from normal this year and have decided to try Goose. We've never had it before and I'm getting hungry just talking about it! Has anyone tried it? What's it like? What is every else having?

Never tried goose, but I've tried duck last year on Christmas. Duck was pretty good.
This year, we'll be going to my grandma's for Christmas dinner, and we're having ham.

I've had duck as well, I enjoyed it when I was a kid.
Usually I make tofurky but I'm not much in the mood these year. I may just eat side dishes.

Gluten free Yorkshire puddings and maybe a jacket potato with cheese! Maybe even chips if I talk nicely to my fiance's sister xD My Christmas dinner is always a bit unorthodox - last year I had chocolate spread sandwiches

We usually take advantage of the emptiness of the city and go have Japanese. This year will be no exception!

We'll be doing our usual thing. Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, veggies, candied yams, dinner rolls, cranberry sauce. We weren't able to have Thanksgiving dinner this year, so this will help make up for it.

Goose is pretty good, we butchered a few of our a couple years ago, the meat is all really dark. I think ours was a little chewy, but our geese were a little older. Overall it's pretty good!
We have kind of a second Thanksgiving on my moms side: Turkey, Ham, mashed taters, pie, lefse, green bean casserole, etc
On my dads side we always have diff stuff, we have had some weird things too, things we have had in the past: Meatballs, shrimp, pickled pig tongue, pickled pig feet, smoked eggs, assorted salads, assorted dips, sandwhiches, turkey, haha usually whatever anyone wants to bring
Ooo yes, and the always necessary pickles and olives on both sides, always the first thing gone hehe!

Goose is pretty good depending on how it is cooked. Some what greesy though.
My family is having Chinese food for christmas this year because my grandmother bough me a wok and it is up to me to do the cooking....(yay I have 25 people to cook for.)
Plus I just got done with all the deserts everything from apple pie to whoopie pies to chocolate chip cookies. Even some home made chocolates are on the plate this year.
