Hello!

I'm new to MH and I love them! Although due to my mahoosive MLP collection and various other obsessions I can only commit to 2 or 3 (honest!). I got Spectra from a store as I couldnt resist. But I'm kicking myself for not getting 1st editions of Frankie and Ghoulia - they're my favourites I think! I got a Dead Tired Ghoulia but she's not the same so I think I might sell her. Soooooo, I was wondering what is my best shot at getting these two girls? I know there's Ebay but the prices seem a bit wild to me!!! Do they come up for sale much on here? And would it be the dollhouse I'd go to or the sales (or is that purely for mlp?). Any help much appreciated!!! x x x Louise x x x

They are pretty close to retail most of the time.

There are some people that are selling MH on here, but i do not believe that anyone has wave 1 for sale right now.

But the Dollhouse and the Sales thread could possibly have them.

I saw them at Walmart about 3 days before Christmas actually. So I'm sure they are still shipped here and there!

But Amazon might be your best bet if you want to get them at their retail price, just check back around midnight EST when they restock. Prices should go down and scalpers should be giving up now that the holidays are over.

Also, Amazon artificially increased prices. They banned a major portion of sellers from selling toys and electronics during the holiday period. Once the ban is over, prices should be closer to normal. Although they made me angry enough over the ban that I am avoiding selling on Amazon even more than eBay.

YYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY welcome to the club! hehe! I find that tesco seems to have the newer dolls ( I got spectra there and apparantly some tescos have Toralei too ) toys r us seem to have the older original set, they are not up to date at all... at least my local tru isnt, yours might be different.

Also go on uk amazon... most sellers offer free shipping, I bought a couple of mine off there and they arrived in 2 days. Avoid ebay for MH dolls, the greedy sellers mark up is unbelievable

Thanks everyone! My mental 'I'm not actively seeking but probably will end up acquiring them ALL' want list is growing in my mind by the minute! Spectra is stunning isnt she PP! I had to get her when I saw her in Asda. Wish I'd have got Abbey when I had the chance, along with 1st wave Frankie who had in fact been in my hands a few days before I decided that RIGHT thats it, theyre getting bought! Then she vanished, boo hoo! I need to trust my instincts more - more impulse buying is needed here, I can always re-sell if i make a mistake right? Right??? x x x x
