Have a think back over the year, you all must have some achievements from the last 12 months, no matter if its big or small, I want to hear about it

Some of my achievements are -

*Left a job that I hated (security) for good

*Started studying towoards a job that I love (child care) and completed my cert III (I am enrolled for the diploma in 2012)

*Actually went back to study after ten years out of it (this was a huge step for me, and it took alot of willpower & effort for me, I was so terrified on my first day back in the classroom that I vomited before I left home)

*Moved states, to a place I had only visited very briefly (this decision was something that I couldn't go back on if I disliked it either, so another big thing for me)

*Made friends with another virgo (I generally only fight with them lol)

*Found my ideal job, something I feel I belong in, not just to bring in money & pay the bills, literally something I love to do.

Please share your own achievements, I am really surprised with how much I have accomplished over the last 12 months, most has been done in the last 6 months or so. No wonder the year seemed to fly by, I thought it might have been me aging instead

Well I wasn't actually unremployed the whole year... I had a job that I really liked (web developer) for a couple of months. However, it was casual and they eventually ran out of work for me to do. I loved it there though. My boss and co-workers were very nice people and I was frequently praised for my work.

I also managed to raise and save a lot of money... Despite spending on a few ponies.

I think I want to gain many more achievements next year.

I know how lucky I am, I regret I didn't throw security in sooner, and also thankful for moving because if I hadn't I would still be sitting in my crappy security job, bored out of my skull.

The only thing I achieved this year is that I gave up drinking soda as part of my efforts to lose weight.

I passed my College Algebra class! I only got a C but I think I deserved to fail it, glad I didn't!

Not much really. Been too busy dealing with other people's stuff. Too many of my friends/family members were going into crisis all year.

I got my job, full-time permanent... after 2.5 years on contracts, now they are stuck with me

Ditto. It's been a lousy year for me too.

• I moved houses to a much larger one when we'd been living in a tiny house for nearly a decade.
• I'm having my first baby! <33

Other than that, the usual family drama and being poor. LoL

What did I achieve in 2011?

I got closer to my Associate's Degree!

And, in turn, closer to my Bachelor's Degree!

Hopefully closer to a sustainable, liveable, enjoyable career and wage.

... Even within this horrid economy.

I have accomplished a lot in 2011. A lot of personal realizations, some rather grim, but most very freeing. I've done a lot for myself independantly, and I've done a lot for my friends. I think so far 2011 has been the most transitional year of my adult life. My biggest accomplishment of the last year: A record label (Indie), managment, and paid gigs! I'm *this* much closer to being a rock star and achieving my dream of having a career in music.

I managed to continue life steadily and normal. Other than that I managed to read 136 books this year
