I used to have a fair amount of toys from the Power of the Force 2 line in the 90's as well as a large chunk of the vintage line through a family friend who sold me half of his childhood collection when I was a kid. I sold most of it a few years ago with the intention of getting into collecting the modern line eventually but I've had the same dilemma of being overwhelmed by the sheer amount of stuff out and not knowing where to start.

I was a massive Star Wars fan when I was younger during the resurgence in popularity the series had in the mid 90's with the 20th Anniversary hype and the Special Editions of the original trilogy, but I kinda lost interest in the series after the prequel films came out.

I'm more of an Indiana Jones guy these days.

I am a completionist at heart so I have to categorize things in a way that allows me to collect Star Wars without getting in over my head. So I collect the KOTOR line and the newer Rancors.

I have a decent sized SW collection but my brothers house is like a shrine to SW. He collects everything from vintage to modern figures, SW cards, SW Lego, SW keyrings, SW books... you get the idea. I took Cookie there for a visit just yesterday and he spent his time playing in my brothers AT AT walker!

Being outside of the US I am not very in the know about prices, but if you have a specific question I'd be happy to try and help.

My husband loves Star Wars. I've bought him a few things (.45 scale lightsabers from Master Replicas, a few figures, legos, things like that), he collects books (has over 80 novels) and each year for Christmas since we've been married, I've made him a Star Wars ornament. I have pics on my deviantart account here. He loves them! I have no idea of value though. I should post a pic of some of his colletion sometime... most of it was from me, hahaha. Besides the books. he has LOADS of books.

One of my fave items of his is the Star Wars signature book I made him for when we went to Star Wars weekend at Disneyworld this last year! I'd never been to Disney, and that was one crazy weekend! He LOVED it!

Star Wars Weekends IS AMAZING, I went especially to meet Amy Allen since I cosplay Aayla and she has always eluded me at cons etc, but OMG WAS IT AMAZING, I have several signature books myself and had some HILARIOUS experiences....so much fun.


PartyPony: Like I said totally willing to help, I'm pretty good at guessing prices, know a fair amount AND have an AMAZING store close to me that has TONS of SW figures, I have found alot of my hard to find items there, let me know if there are any pieces in particular you are looking for I will probably be making a trip there after Jan 5th or so and can look for yo and i they have something you want/need I can always pick it up if it's in your price range and you can pay me back, the place is REALLY rasonable and has bot MIB and open figures.

Thoth has a Clone collection, which is no help Party gal. LOL
