Hey guys! I'm new here, and I hope to be a bit of a pony modder. I've poked at this forum over the last month and finally decided to join ^^

I... Don't have much MLP fanart to my name. To be honest, I don't really draw animals, but I've been a MLP fan since I was a little girl, and my brony friends getting me back into MLP via G4 has rekindled an old love of mine ^^

Currently the only fanart I've done in the last 10 years is this :-



This is not a good representation of me as an artist though XD This was a gift for a friend of mine's daughter who was an MLP fan, and a lover of Play station games, so I made her a PS Pony

I also have vintage fanart that I did of a G1 pony race board game I had. I did this when G1 was current so it's TRUE vintage fanart



Excuse the cut along her face. My older brother didn't like my love for MLP and put a knife and fork to it. Scared me for LIFE that. I was so proud of this when I was a kid >.< I vividly remember the horror when he did it even today 20 years in the future XD

My art nowdays is more with humans than animals. I'm a comic artist (for fun) and I try my hand at finearts too. My favourite mediums are Pencil / coloured pencil, Copics, paint, and vector (Although I have a lack of paint and vector art to my name)

Some examples of what I draw are:-

"I can has Tiger and Bunny" <- My first Tiger and Bunny fanart
"David Tennant" <- Dressed as the 10th Doctor
"Rosella the Grave digger" <- A character from a childhood fav game, King's Quest. It's a joke about how she digs up graves in all her games
"Slayer's Game Teaser page" <- It's not screen toned or texted, but that's the bare line art of one of my comic pages.


Hopefully I'll have some pony mods up at some point so I have something more relevant to show you guys

Thank you Although I wish I was more familiar with horse anatomy with it :/ My horses look like they were hit with dragon sticks- and not in a way I approve of T.T I'm getting better at cats now ^^; They looks semi feline...

OH! Yes- There's usually those, eh? XD I've been surfing this forum for the last month so I kinda wanted to get right into it! XD Is this where I post WIP of my pony mods? Or is there forums for that?

HAHAHAH! Yeah- he's pretty darn popular :3 It's funny though, I drew that to help critique a person who drew that same pose and when I went to critique them I was all WAHT?! and couldn't figure out how to explain his face XD He's so complicated. It wasn't till I was nearly finished rendering him that I got him looking Tennantish. Normally I can get that level of resemblance in the sketch. He is SO hard to draw realistically! I had fun doing that challenge though :3 English actors seem to be very difficult to draw I've found...

Updated with some vintage MLP fanart. Donno if anyone cares, but it's barren in my fanart thread so I thought I'd put some fanart I did of a G1 pony race game I did when I was about 8. More description under the picture above.

Oooooo I just love all of artwork! o-o You have mad skills! ;D I super envy your people drawing skills as all I can draw is ponies! lol I love the playstation pony too! Is that Kingdom Hearts necklace I spy? ;D lol

But yes I definitely want to see more artwork from you, ponies or not! It's all just wonderful

To be specific what I remember is (off memory too O.o )

- Ookami markings
- Cloud's sword
- Kingdom Hearts necklace
- I think the top is Yuna's
- The hair is off a character from Suikoden
- I forget the ears... maybe Jak and Dex?
- Forget where the loppy hair was from. I'veonly play 2 of the above mentioned games T.T

Drawing Ponies is great though! We all have our strengths with art We all start somewhere and learn the hard road along the way.

I love your vintage art work! I can't even draw that well at my age let alone when I was younger.

Lol- cheers I guess I had a good eye for art back then, then I'm amused how I tried to copy the text too XD I might see if I can do something new in the New Year

Awesome art! Your people look fabulous, I've always thought humans were the hardest to draw (except mechanical things, I'm awful at those lol). Your pony looks really good too! Her legs seem a little short, but if you're not used to drawing animals, then she's even more fantastic. I would suggest looking at pictures of horses (and those "how to draw horses" books) and working with actual horse anatomy before turning it into ponies. That has helped me greatly

Oh- you're a King's Quest fan? OH! You'd love that Phoenix Online have done a fangame of it! IT's so pretty and it's a great storyline! this site has two games now, Cognition and The Silver Lining. the Silver lining is the only downloadable game at the moment as cognition is still WIP (It has a HUGE backing though!). Alot of my King's Quest art is fanart of that game Like, Tear Drop, Rosella Grave digger (it's an outfit they had in the concept sketches that they didn't use), TSL Ranger, TSL Lieutenant Shorty (The BEST guard dog ever!), Tragedy WIP (T.T Still work in progress T.T ), and Wounds of a forlorn King (It was a scene that I miss interpreted slightly at the time in the game XD)

Oh- I was going to get around to watching you too but I've been very busy. I'm watching you now too

Thank you! It's what you're passionate about drawing. My passion is in humans. I loved MLP when I was a kid, but my head was always stuck in the clouds with medieval fantasy and stuff. I thinnk anything is hard to draw till you figure it out which is why if it's not your passion, it seems harder when it actually isn't. I find horses hard to draw in the same way. I've tried studying them cause one of my character rides a horse called Thunder, who was a unicorn on my world before 'the cleansing' and became what's called an Ebony Gold, which is a unicorn trained in battle. These unicorns lost their innocence and turned jet black with golden hooves. fc07.deviantart.net/im..._night.jpg (I didn't draw this, but it's sort of what I mean) The idea was that one brother had Thunder, and one had Lightning. Lightning was a white horse. Thunder also made a loud noise when he ran- like Thunder. I wish I could draw them but I can't just yet I imagine my pony drawing has flaws though. I wasn't really spending time on it and all my art around that time I drew it had heaps of proportion flaws. It's about 4 or 5 years old now XD

Thank you though ^^ I like to look back at my old art to see how far I've come so all my art is easy for me to find. It holds alot of great memories for me ^^
