I have tried just about every option to sealing ponies.
All failed.

Please, do we have a UK alternative to the US Dullcote?
Or anything.

My ponies desperately need your help to stay looking prettyful forever.
Tips and Tricks are welcomed too.

I don't do customs any more but I did use Modpodge...I use that stuff for just about everything else too. Need to stick string to wood craft project? Modpodge. Need to touch seal flaky nail polish? Modpodge.....Got mine of eBay a couple of years back, was a UK seller.

Did you have to water it down in order to cat the pony? *clueless*

I have and what they recommended didn't work. It never set properly and remained sticky.

What are you using under them out of curiosity?

I have used Army Painter Anti-Shine Matt Varnish and that has worked well at least on the ponies I have used it. It's a spray sealent like every sealent I use on ponies, not sure if that matters

Its an acrylic sealant used for plastic, wood, canvas and glass.
It just doesn't adhere to the ponies very well.
Works marvellously on my paintings though

Army Painter Anti-Shine Matt Varnish <---- this stuff is excellent and mostly what I use.

Otherwise use: Winsor & Newton Galeria Matt Varnish, seems to have worked so far and no stickiness.

I use ModPodge or I have a spray sealant by Vallejo (Acrylic Matte Varnish Permanent) which seams to work well but I don't think it protects the paintwork from chips quite as well as the ModPodge. With it being an aerosol it goes on better though!

I think I'll get myself some ModPodge from Amazon.
It seems to be the most widely recommended.

So... modpodge is a varnish? I've never seen it in NZ. Everyone seems to talk about it here though

I'm not entirely certain what it is but it gets rave reviews
