I purchased a sad, faded G1 Applejack from a thrift store a bit ago. She was also missing her tail and a large portion of her mane. What hair was left was brittle.
I opted for a re-hair restoration, mostly due to the fact that I was out of Dollyhair Golden Delicious. 
She's re-haired in Marmalade and Key Lime.
Thoughts?

I can't believe how much a diffrence there is after such a little change.
I think she even looks better than original Applejack... cudos to you!

Oh bizarre. I looked at the pic first and could have SWORN they were oranges/tangerines. Amazing what a big difference that stripe makes.
