You make pony hair look so gorgeous! I'm not good with hair, never have been. You should start a business styling pony hair since you're so amazing at it;)
When I get a new pony, I give her the pony spa treatment regardless of her condition. I use Dawn to clean and wash them, I use my daughter's Suave 2 in 1 kids shampoo/conditioner first, then follow up with fabric softener for their hair. After they have been soaking for a few hours, I brush the hair out with a wire cat hair brush, and will use a flat iron if needed. To get curls, I like to wrap the hair around the back leg. I find this gives the tail a nice, even wave that is easy to brush and style. Brushing pony hair is one of my favorite ways to de-stress. There is something so satisfying about making a pony look pretty!
