I have seen a few people that have made skins for various electronics and absolutely love the idea! I am wondering if anyone has any high quality scans I can use of G1 artwork such as pamphlets, backcards or playset boxes? I would love to see as many as possible to see what will work and which I like best. I am especially interested in a skin for my new Kindle Fire but may do one for my computer, phone and or iPod so the bigger/clearer the image the better. Thanks for your help!

ya know! I was gonna direct you to the deviantart artist community, a lot of people there do high quality vector traces of ponies... but come to think of it... all their stuff is G4!! this makes me wanna vectorize some G1 now! lol!!!

I think scans of animation production cels, vector traces and restored artwork from movie boxes would work best but I have yet to see high enough quality backcard scans.

I was actually thinking along the lines of what Nosar did with her computer. She did a scan of a pamphlet and made it into a skin to go on her Apple computer.

Gabumon: Vectors I don't think that was what I had in mind. I really like the look of original artwork like what Nosar has on her computer. I know she did a thread kind of like this one to see if anyone had anything else she could use to make another one but I don't know that she actually got much unless people PM'd her.

Emery: I know I want to get a few things on Zazzle but they do not have anything for Kindle Fires yet. That is definitely the kind of artwork I am thinking though. Also, the website I found to make custom skins has templates for my phone, computer, MP3 player and my kindle and at decent prices!

I have a bunch of scans of pamphlets, posters, and books HERE (The books are in sub-albums.) If you see anything you like and it's not a high enough resolution for you just drop me a PM with the details and I'd be glad to provide a better quality scan for you. (I have backcards from Years 2 - 7 as well.)

I love the Summer Wing pony one! I might try find a better scan of that for my phone...which I still haven't gotten around to doing!
