Just like the title says. Hardest - or most expensive! On Fire

Mine was probably that there ISN'T a rare German Baby Blossom who's a total steal for $75. Stupid

That was when I was very new to collecting! Poke Tounge

Um, and also that white-haired, white symboled Posey isn't a HTF variant. Poke Tounge

I think mine is, don't let your husband help clean ponies with acetone. Guys aren't always that careful. Sad

Not to open rare MOCs...
I opened up my entire set of surprise newborns and washed away their diapers when I was new to collecting XD

Also, not to keep ponies near the trashcan as they accidentally might fall in and get thrown away Poke Tounge

Make sure to ask specific questions about ponies' condition, even if you might be annoying the seller. >.< I'm -still- learning that one!! *glares at new ponies not in good condition* Bahhh.

If someone you know tells you they still have ponies in their house and they'll let you have them, do not buy it. They are either lying, mistaken, or they will NEVER bother looking for them.

i've actually had pretty good luck when it comes to collecting. but i've learned never to pass up cheapo yardsale ponies, even if they happen to be ones i don't think i want. i've passed up some super steals due to my laziness: ponies which i could have sold or traded or simply added to my collection, anyway. ;p never again!

I've learned that if you see a pony that you might come back for later because you're getting too many already, get the pony!
