I would most certainly name my kid after a pony but it would have to be one that is kind of obscure. So Rainbow Dash is out, LOL!

I don`t have to think about it. In Germany you can`t give your kid a name that`s to extraordinary resp. it has to be a name that irreproachable predicate if the kid is a boy or girl. I guess that don`t includes ponynames.

When I was a kid I loved the cartoon "Serendipity the pink dragon" and I swore I would name my daughter that. Now that a pony is named serendipity then I guess it would technically be naming her after a pony =P

Well my name is also the name of a pony and I know one other collector who has a middle name that is also a pony's name.

However I was born before the pony came out, so I tend to say that the pony was named after me LOL.

You could always use parts of pony names to make up a normal name. Eg:
Skye
Jack
Dahiala
Sunny
Rose

Sure! Why not? There is some names I think would be great. But maybe a part of the name is best, for example; Penny (Candy), Autumn (Skye) or Toola (Roola).

Oh definately ^_^ When i have kids they are going to have the most amazing names lol. I'd love to name a girl Sakura after my fave flower and the girl from cardcaptors lol but as far as ponys go, i would definatly name one after one. Blossom would be a nice one but is too similar to Sakura,although Magic, Star would make a lovely first and middle name Then again Kimono would be adorable

There's one name I for sure would never name myself or my daughter...and thats Tink-a-tink-a-too!
