I'm just now finding this discussion! I freaking love the monster high dolls. my most recent acquisitions were a steal at CVS after the holidays - 50% off, so got them for about $7 each. draculara and frankie classrooms/day at the maul versions.

my collection includes the original lagoona, clawdeen, and ghoulia - later added the dawn of the dance frankie and spectra.

spectra is by far my fave so far.

I'm keeping an eye out for operetta, abbie and cupid. only collecting one of each girl at the moment, and not really interested in the boys yet (what am I, 12?) lol

I don't have cleo yet, because I haven't found one of her that I'm totally in love with.

I was so bummed yesterday. I spend the entire day going to a few stores: Toys R Us, Walmart, Target and Justice looking for Abbey (any version) and no luck. Most stores didn't have anymore monster high or had very few.

All I want is Abbey.

I went hunting for Abbey Bominable at Target, Justice, Walmart and Toys R Us. I take the city bus and I was out nearly all day. No one had Abbey. I've been trying to get her since summer of last year. Most stores were pretty much wiped out of monster high in general.

AD has posted pictures of Nefera and Operetta and they are GORGEOUS. AD has also bumped up the sale date to TOMORROW and someone said that Operetta had already been spotted in the UK.

Wow I love that Nefera Is so much bigger to make her look older.
But for some odd reason I'm getting this drag-queen vibe from her lmao just the way she seems out of proportion.
Still loving her though and wont stop me from getting my hands on her MUAHAHAHA!

Just two care notes:
When combing signature Abbey's hair, do it very carefully! Try to avoid really pulling the comb through the hair, otherwise you might end up with some crinkled tinsel.
If you're thinking of going through DotD Ghoulia's hair... you might want extra conditioner than normally used and a lot of patience. The 'curls' are actually rather ratty, I counted at least 3 knots that ended up being ripped out by the comb as it was that bad. However I managed to do it and leave Ghoulia with much softer wavy hair ^_^
