Aw. I'm glad for the folks who didn't have a Kimono to begin with, but to be honest.. I was kind of hoping she'd be the pony that they didn't re-create. It would be nice to have at least ONE pony they don't end up re re re re re issuing so that some day it'd be worth more (besides holiday ponies ).

But I AM glad folks'll be able to get her. Even if it IS at a discounted price, which may even ruin ALL Kimono's price values in the future! ACK! So much thinking, so late! I'm sure a saving grace will be I versus II.

I just saw her today when I went to my KB here. So anyone else living down in So Cal should be able to find them or will start seeing them soon. They had tons of them too. Haven't decided yet if I will get her. Since she is so cheap and a neat exclusive I'll probably go back and get her next week. Its weird that Hasbro does stuff like that. But yea its cool that people that never got her will get another chance at her.

She's prettier in person. I found her at my KB Toys today. They had TONS of her.

yeah! Kimono is now out in a new pose!

I guess I shouldn't pass judgement on the new pose until I see her in person. They havea KB at the mall near me so I suppose I check it out if I'm ever in that area. I do think I'd really just like the orig. Kimono though, it's just so her. ^_^

Since I don't have a KB in my town anymore, I asked my parents to check out theirs (they live 100 miles away). They said their KB didn't have any Kimonos and to check back around CHRISTMAS! Sheesh...

My question is: Is the new Kimono slightly different colours from the old Kimono, or is it only the pose that's changed? =^^=

I finally opened and bathed my new Kimono today!! SHE IS SO GORGEOUS!!!! When placed side my side next to the first edition Kimono, I personally think the colors are the same, but my room doesn't have the best lighting so its hard to tell. But I think she looks beautiful in both poses!

Would anyone mind posting a nice pic of her out of the box?

I'll have to drag my old Kimono down to KB if they've got the new one and compare. I might just sell off the first-version one if I decide I like the new one better, we'll see....XD I'm not an MIB collector or a "Gotta catch 'em all!" collector, I just keep what I like best.

I am THRILLED to see any pony released in this pose..it's my favorite, and I thought for sure that Hasbro had retired it, since they hadn't released any new ponies in this pose since late last year (Round 'n Round and Kiwi Tart; remind me if I'm forgetting someone). And ANY pony for $3.99 is a definite must buy, let alone Kimono!!

my kb had tons i bought a few one for my daughter, so now im going to find her 1st kimono and sell or trade it, my daughter doesnt care which one she has. and one to trade for a traget baby i still cant get. i think shes cute but i do like the other pose better.
