I was so thrilled when they came out, I bought ten of the 13" Walmart plushes: Friend, Wish, Love-a-lot, Share, Cheer, Bedtime, Grumpy, Good Luck, and Funshine. I covered their boxes with clear plastic wrap to keep the dust off of them and they're all displayed on a shelf.

I LOVE some of the latest 13" bears with the brighter colors, like Daydream and Secret, but... they talk... in really annoying voices! :nervous: I can't stand toys that talk! :dontgetit: So I've been waffling over the last year about what to do about this conundrum.

Then yesterday when I saw True Heart in all her multi-pastelled glory, I broke down. :cry: I had to have her, horrible voice or not. I'm thinking I will just remove the voice mechanism/battery pack and strap her back in her box. *sigh*

What do you guys think about the new Care Bears? Anyone collect them?

Well, I was pleased to see them return, but some of the new tummy symbols seem a bit strange.

Did they have Noble Heart Horse as well?

I haven't seen a reincarnation of Noble Heart yet. I was actually pretty disappointed in the way they've done the new Cousins; Treat Heart Pig only had one nose heart instead of two, so she didn't even look like a pig...

Awww cute! I do enjoy the care bears a lot! I have one larger plush, but I primarily collect the smaller plushes. I like those new kind of tye-dye looking ones though. On a side note: have any care bear collectors here gotten the cute halloween costume care bears yet?? I got the cute one in the little tiger suite and the one dressed up as a yellow pumpkin! The other one was cheer bear in a little witch costume- but I thought the other two were much cuter!

I like the new ones alot (especially the glowing ones!) but I intensely dislike most talking plushes. Especially when they turn on at random when you're not expecting it *eyes Neopets plush in closet*.

My youngest is in love with Care Bears! I think we have about 6 different ones right now, some of them are just the little beanie ones but we do have a couple that talk when you squeeze their hand.
We even bought a ton of the old movies, I just love them! I remember watching them when I was younger and loving them!
I even broke down and bought a lot of the older figurines off of ebay last month, I cleaned them all up and I am saving them for her for Christmas, she is going to just love them!

I have True Heart and Tenderheart but I really want Noble Heart (shes my fave)...I also wish they would bring Grams Bear out in the 13" I got a small plushie for my mom but I would love to get her a bigger one^^

I have the vintage Proudheart Cat plush (the only one I keep) and I love her so much! I hate the new one in blue... I wish I could find more PH cat stuff!

The dolls are cute but those computer movies are way creepy.

I like the original care bears that I grew up with but not the new ones.
My favs are Bedtime bear and Friendship bear. Mix them together and you get me.

Noble Heart is a boy by the way :)..At least, he is in the 2nd movie and 80's cartoon

I collect the new ones too. I have some old ones from when I was little. I prefer some of the old ones over the new ones, and some new ones over old ones. I also do not like the talking care bears and have come very close to taking out the voice boxes. Maybe not for my fit and fun cheer bear though. The baby care bears they have now look like aliens to me. I don't really like the computer animation movies either. Besides the plushies, I collect a lot of things with care bears on them, just like with my little pony
