We got none

It seems like trick or treating is a dying phenoman in my town. Actually, its more probable that my town has gotten so much bigger since I was a kid there are a lot more places to trick or treat now.

The boys and I are going out tomorrow night. We'll have to see how things go and I'll let you know if trick or treating is dead around here, too.

oops. I forgot! Toms River does trick or treating on the 30th always. The reason being is we have a major Halloween parade on the 31st. Apparently, its the second biggest Halloween Parade in the country. I'm not sure how old that is though. The whole town goes there, there are chairs set up two days before and it runs through Main Street. Everyone is in it or watches it. My dad's office used to be on Main Street when I was a kid, so the local businesses and offices that my parents knew always had people invited over-they're was always cookies, cakes and hot chocolate. I haven't been in years though.

I'm hoping for lots! I've got some really cool candies to give out. Last year all the kids were like "This house has the good stuff!" LOL

I'm not sure about tonight, but it seems like we only get about 1 - 3 a year. I'll be taking my two older ones out tonight, but it's kinda sad that the whole "Trick or Treating" thing is dying out.

We got billions and billions last year, it was the more we've had in ages. I hope we get a lot this year. Our town doesn't have a big indoor mall to go trick or treating at but I think the schools have started to do stuff.

Last year...none. I don't know if the whole town just didn't go, or if, more likely, nobody goes TnTing at appartments. This year, I'm back in the dorms, so i don't know WHAT will happen.

we are hiding with all the lights off so I hope none! We usually get a truckload or two but we never even picked up cnady this year so if they show they get an apple

Just two very sweet little girls. I bought sweets in, expecting loads of people, and they were all we had! I was very surprised.

Still, my housemates and I ate the rest of the sweeties instead, so I guess it wasn't all bad.

Ok, seems like the rush is over!

I lost count when this huge group of kids streamed up to the door, they just kept coming! But we got probably between 30-40, and that was in pouring rain and thunderstorms! Yay for Halloween spirit!

[end count] Somewhere over 50. I ran out of candy as more kids were coming up the sidewalk.
