Do you keep an extra pair of clean underwear in your purse for emergencies like your mom always told you to? I don't but my grandma did.

Even if I were advised to do so, where exactly would I put the extra pair? I don't carry around a purse.

Ive never heard of this before, but it is bringing up the most hilarious scenarios in my head. I generally only wear floss-type underwear (not that you all need to know that), but can you imagine yourself in a store, reaching for your wallet to pay for something, and out falls a scandalous little pair of knickers on the counter in front of the clerk?????
ahahahaha Im already embarrassed and it hasnt happened. oh dear.
I know there was a saying to always have on a clean pair of underwear, but to carry a spare in your purse? what are you going to do? 'oh Ive been hit by a bus, I better change into my spare underwear' or 'oh no! a tornado is headed this way! quick, Ill change into my new underwear!'
ok, now Im just getting silly. but Im envisioning some strange superman-like scenario where a girl whirls around in a phonebooth and comes out wearing new underwear in times of crisis..... hahaha.
