Toys R Us is the best place to find old G3s, because they sit there and sit there until they sell!

I have still seen a few around here like Shenanigans, Valenshy, Cherry Blossom I, Sparkleworks, Merriweather, Sunny Daze II. I think that is about it though.

I remember seeing old jewel ponies like Crystal Lace, Gem Blossom, Periwinkle and Valenshy in my TRU recently. I found a random Marshmellow Cocoa two weeks ago, which I have traded already.

Our Toys R Us still has a lot of the jewel ponies from 2004 and I still see Berry Pickin' Fun Butterscotch and Rain or Shine Garden Time Star Swirl everywhere. I found a first release Toola Roola a few months back (before the Family Dollar releases). I was surprised to see her sitting on the shelf.

My TRU keeps restocking Valenshy, Merriweather, etc. too. Also, Cotton Candy, Amberlocks, Butterscotch, Starswirl, etc. Just when I think I've seen the last of them, they'll get more in. The oldest one I saw at Target was Golden Delicious (not the one with the pet) & Cotton Candy.

My TRU has still got some of the Jewel ponies from the friendship ball series, and also Butterscotch with her berry picking outfit.

I find that the TRU's around here are the only places that still have "fairly old" ponies around. Like the mom & baby sets and the Butterscotch pickin' sets and such.

And once and a while I will come across one with a charm.

About 3 months ago I freeked when i found Rainbow dash, Wysteria and Sunny Daze in toyworld all 1st release with the video. I think my mum thought i'd gone nuts when i started grabbing them off the shelves.
They must have been stashed in a warehouse somewhere.
Now if only they'd had kimono. . . .

I think the oldest G3 still around for me is the Evening Wear Sunny Daze/Sparkleworks. My TRU's had those for forever and I don't think they're ever going to leave, lol. We also still have a good chunk of the birthstone ponies.
