Regularly See Doctors

What doctors do you regularly go to see?

I used to see my derm about every 3 weeks, on average. I would get chemical peels, a controlled burn, which would remove acne scars to leave skin tones even. Now I'm going to see a chiropratic physician to get my vertibrays in my back in allignment and I'll be going there regularly.

I kinda like going to see my derm-they have patients waiting an hour at least but they do a really good job, pleasent to be around, and remember me by face.

The chiropratic physician is very impressive, he has a lot of certificates, very well educated, experienced, and skilled. He is patient, through, and considerate. I had an evaluation done by him and now will be going to see him regularly.

I don't get out too much but when I do it's not to anywhere too exciting. Bleh! But when I do go out for the night I'll go all out. I should have a balance in my life. Oh well-this works for me.

Anyways, do any of you girls go to see doctors regularly (weekly, bimonthly or monthly)? If so what do you think about it?

I should, but I don't because I don't have insurance and can't afford it - I'm not eligible for state insurance.

I go to a chiropractor once in awhile, maybe every few months or so and then of course I have to go yearly to my OB.

Eh, I usually see the doctor about once every three months to check on medications and such. I have PCOD but it doesn't affect me very much.

I have a doctor I go see monthly. Have an appointment today, in fact. Ugh. x.x
It is a mental health doctor. ^_^;;; I have some phobias and anxieties I need to straighten out.

OB for yearly physical once a year, usually in January so I can get it OVER WITH

Family physician about 4 times a year for random stuff, my back, asthma checks, if I get really really sick.

Eye doc once a year for regular check ups and continuous contact lens checks.

Hmmm, that's about it.

me, too! I need to see the eye doctor. Plus, he's cute. *wiggles eyebrows*

hmmm...right now i see my midwife at least once a month.

chiropractor = about every other week

primary doc = about once a year

GI doc = every 6 months

sleep disorder doc = every 6 months

doc of pysical medicine = every 4-6 months

i think thats all my docs Smile

I usually end up seeing somebody once or twice a year, but I don't have a set schedule. Except for the dentist - I always see him every 6 months or so.

This year I've gone to the eye doctor, the derm, and the GP for random stuff. I don't find that I have to have a plan, because stuff usually comes up anyway, so I just go when I have some problem that needs resolving.
I probably will start seeing the derm regularly, though. I am on a kajillion skin meds now, so...

sunkissed--what sort of chemical peels do you get for acne scars? I've heard that both glycolic and beta hydroxy are good. Does it work well for you? I have pretty bad acne scars, and I've thought about trying chemical peels. You have them done at your dermatologists? I also heard that you can have it done at some salons for cheaper, but I am not sure if that's as safe as doing it at the doctors. I look forward to hearing from your experiences.

I haven't been since I was 9 years old...it was a little traumatizing Sad

I no longer qualify for insurance but I've found a free clinic that I'm planning to go to for the time being. Once I get insurance again, however, I'll be going to the eye doc and hopefully a chiropractor too Smile
