Theres worse things to be collecting I say. But most of my friends are big into horses, and most of them are men but they think MLP's are pretty cool.
Be even cooler if there were more boyish ponies.
But if anyone called me a loser after seeing my MLP's, I'd tell them to get out of my house. They can thumb a lift home

Gee, I guess I've been pretty lucky, I've never had anyone really say anything negative. My parents are totally fine with it (they're collectors too), although I think my mom is really sick of ponies everywhere (lol), and I'm sure I drive them nuts by talking about them so much. But my dad faithfully carries around a little list of the new ponies I need and buys them when he sees them.
I've never had a cashier say anything negative. Sometimes they make a comment if I'm buying a lot of ponies, but I tell them I'm a collector and they usually seem impressed.
Although, the cashier at my Family Dollar did raise an eyebrow when I dragged all 3 trays, containing a total of 36 pairs, of those little fakie ponies up to the register. (the store hardly ever has customers, and certainly not customers that buy that much at once, lol). But I just smiled innocently and told her I was shipping them to friends in England and Sweden. (Which caused the other eyebrow to go up.) lol
Tif =8-)

OO yes. I try not to tell people at school, but a lot of times when people come over, they see my little shelf full of ponies and at least every reaction is like, "Oh my gosh. What the heck is that?" or, "Alyssa, are you serious?!?!?!?!?" I don't care when they say it though. I just laugh and go, "Yup, thats me and my ponies." I remember my one friend Connor asked, "Alyssa, do you really like My Little Ponies?" and I go, "Ummm..yeah." She doesn't really mind now because she thinks they are cute. lol. Only a couple of times have people have called me an idiot for collecting them.

Hey hun. Thats awful don't let anyone put you down. People of all sorts of ages collect different things. My brothers 20 and he loves power rangers and still watches the show and collects the toys. Me and him go toy shopping together. If their that mean then their not your friends

yeah- my dad and brother call me names.. mostly in play but they just say "what are you going to do with them" and "what a waste of money." it makes me feel bad but they don't understand. my fiance is pretty cool about it. he buys them for me sometimes when we are out and i see one i don't have... i like reading this site alot because it makes me feel good. i am in my late 20s and started this obsession when i was 24-25... it is a little ridiculous i think sometimes but they make me smile and whoever siad you could be spending your money on drinking and drugs and stuff. i just think of that. yep pretty much. i would rather have a pony over a beer ANY day.
