Aw WW that is terriable. We had a nasty band teacher that used to pick on us but she didn't call us stupid:/. We nick named her Blueberry Muffin butt >.< lol. Do you still have your flute? It's not hard to pick back up reading music is easy:)

no I got rid of it....he got fired later in the year my mom wrote a very thick letter to the principal and school board and they did an investagation and numerous stundents & parents complained about him (justice is so sweet^^)

I can play some crappy piano, and I played violin for a few years and was relatively good (first chair, yay). I'm hoping that will give me some sort of edge on guitar, but I don't have time for lessons now, and I am not nearly focused enough to teach myself (as I learned fairly recently).

Lately I've been wanting to take out my violin, it's a lovely instrument, although its sound is provided by the tail hairs of slaughtered horses >_< They told us in elementary school that they just borrowed the hairs and the horses didn't mind. Lies! All lies!

Guitar and piano, though, since I don't have a piano around most of the time, I'm way out of practice. I don't play guitar too much anymore either, just not motivated. I've been playing piano since I was maybe 10? so that would be for 22 years, and guitar since I was 14, so 18 years. And I'm still crap. =)

I LOVE the trumpet and played it in middle school and high school band =) I made 5th chair my last year AND I had braces.

If you ever had braces you know it sucks, if you've ever wanted to play the trumpet and have braces, then you know full well what its like puting your mouth in a meat grinder.

I really want to learn how to play the violin, it sound so wonderful

I miss band, the music my teacher picked for use was great. I suck at keeping beat to, but after playing the song a bunch of times I could get it right.

You miss band? I kinda miss marching band instead of regular band but then again I could never miss the marching practices>.<. Trying to play the musci corretly and making living squares and what not oy what a headache lol

lol! Yeah I miss it all, I say band in general because I had a small high school 400 students 150 of whom where in band and or choir... So Band for me means everything from Symphonic Band, parade marching, field marching Pep Band, the only thing that was optional for a band students where the special jazz, blues, swing, and then there was the specialized winds, brass, and percussion choirs ect...

Marching band was fun.. I was in charge of keeping the 3rd trumpets in line because they were lazy, couldn't count or pay attention worth thire lives.. I even got permision from the band istructer to hit them or yell at the but I never did.. OOhh the love

You did have a small highschool mine was like that we had less then that thought for 9 though 12>.<. The band instructor must have been related to a guy that I had...he loved to yell his lungs out if you messed up lol. I miss toying around with other peoples insturments>.<. Oh the power you had I would have used it lol:P. Sorry to get off topic>.<

I used to.

I started playing Bassoon and Oboe in Junior High.
In Senior High, I played xylophone, bells, cymbals, and other assorted noise makers during the marching season.
I played Bassoon an additional 4 years in College.

I haven't played since graduating 10 years ago.
