I am trying to find the perfect fairy picture that I would love to have tattooed onto me. I have been searching through so many sites, books, magazines and I can't seem to find one that I really like. I will try to describe what I am looking for.
I would like her to have blues, silvers or purple in the pic. Also I would like to have some fairy dust around her and have long gorgeous wings, long flowing hair, her ears to be pointy and the whole picture looking magical. Moons and stars.
I know this is alot to ask for but I won't get a tattoo until I find the perfect picture for it.
I hope some of you can help me out finding one I really love.

Hmm... Have you tried checking the galleries of Amy Brown, Nene Thomas, or Jessica Galbreth? I'm pretty sure I've seen something floating around that reasembles what you're looking for by one of them, but alas, forgive my memory, I can't remember which of these three talented ladies I'm thinking of

To be honest, I haven't a clue (copyright laws and the like just sort of fly right over my head *lol*)
BUT... I have seen photos while googling of peoples tattooes, which were complete copies of the original artwork, so... If they haven't gotten in trouble for it, I doubt you would.

I'm an Alan Lee fan - he did the Faries book with Brian Froud and did the Art work for LOTR.

I met Julie Bell at a convention, and someone asked what her take was on people getting her artwork for tattoos. She said that she's fine with it, and that it's compliment... but she does prefer that someone asks her permission first. Perhaps you could find a piece you want and then have the tattoo artist use it for a base to design a tattoo for you?

Maybe you can as one of the artists here to design you one? An original one?
