Perhaps drop them an inquiry through the ebay system to make sure, I'm guessing they are, but its always best to confirm it Happy

Just a note, I just bought from ravage_x9 and the transaction went very smoothly and the pony arrived in great time.

I bought three ponies from CrazyVintageGirl and was disappointed. Two were listed as having marks, but the marks were hidden in photos by the mane and strategically placed forelock.

The third pony was listed as "no marks" and had several scuffs, including one black (ink?) that hasn't come off yet.

Since the marks on the other two were vaguely listed ("has small marks"), I wouldn't leave negative or anything. I do think that a large neon spot under the mane (nicely curled, too) and a black ink mark in the middle of the forehead should be noted or photographed.

It looked to me like they were deliberately posed to avoid the marks in the photos.

I have never had a problem with her. Nice and always nice ponies. If you contact her maybe she can help you out. She is a very nice seller.

Angelika, Crazyvintagegirl is very easy to work with as far as partial refunds etc. You should email her with your disapointment and I'm sure you'll get it resolved so you're happy.

I have also dealed with her, and had no problems with her. On an other note, this thread is from november 2005, maybe a little late to go digging it up?

Yes, this is true. But it's very shady to misrepresent an item through the listing or photo, and then try to make a deal when the buyer finds out. Its the worst kind of manipulation of the feedback system. Come on, huge neon spots hidden under curls in a photo?

I guess its only a rule for the Trader Feedback forum to keep everything in one thread. I only "dug it up" because I had my first and only experience with this person.

Since she still wants to go at this... THis is my side..

Buying on ebay is about communication, if you are not happy with the item you email the seller and you tell them, and hopefully the seller will respond quickly as possible and either give you a partial refund or a full refund. I have never intentionally misled any of my buyers, nor do I style my pony's hair for the sole purpose of hiding their flaws. I curl and style their hair to make them look nice, not to cover anything up. My auctions include many photos, all of which can be enlarged. The mark on Cotton Candy's forehead is completly visable in the photo. As for any other marks that you mention, I truly did not notice them. I do not have a 100% eBay feedback rating for nothing. I also have many repeat customers, so I must be doing something right. If I ever have a buyer who is unhappy, I am always more than happy to work with them. I wish that you would have e-mailed me beforehand before assuming that I was trying to "pull one over you." I simply emailed you and told you:

Why didnt you come to me before u wrote all those feedbacks. I would have worked something out with you. And you are complaining for something you already knew, It says on the descriptions they had marks

And you responded:

I left positive feedback with constructive criticism. I probably should have left neutral feedback, as the experience was neither positive nor very negative. eBay isn't about buying feedback, its about doing reliable business and the best descriptions possible for items the buyer can't look at in person. I understand that two of the ponies were listed as -have marks-, but you shouldn't have covered them up with curls - you should have said -black mark on forehead- (Cotton Candy) and -neon spot under mane- (Birth Flower). Also, there were some marks on Glory, and she was listed as -no marks-. I paid for a minty pony with her and she had marks and glitter loss. You saw those before you listed, so don't be surprised that I saw it too. I also don't have much respect for sellers who wait for the buyer to leave feedback before leaving their own. I have other pony dealers that have been fantastic and 100% reliable, so you won't need to worry about me bidding on yours again.

And after you wrote this email you came over here and you bumped up both the topics about me all you are doing is acting childish, Instead of working things out with the seller you tell me that i buy feedback, that you didnt want a refund. So then why do you come over here and complain about me?
I do not buy feedback, I mean isnt that what all buyers want is for a seller to be willing to give a refund no questions asked, I mean I guess you are the type of buyer that just never seems to be happy, So am I at fault for wanting to give you a refund? And glory did not have no marks.. Also I try to take as much pictures as I can so all the flaws would be seen, and on cotton candy you can see the mark on the forhead, I think others see it as well so i dont know how you couldnt. But oh well our transaction is over and you need to get over it as well.

I'm not going to copy the personal e-mail that the above was in response to on a public forum, but you should realize that that isn't appropriate.

All I did, and let's make this 100% clear, is leave POSITIVE feedback with the suggestion that you document the marks on the ponies so that buyers aren't surprised. I don't just mean saying "body has minor marks", I mean "blue ink on left hoof", "pink neon spot under mane", etc.

I didn't want a refund because I did expect them to have marks, but I was surprised by the large spots that weren't in the pictures or described in the listing. That's why I left positives. Its frustrating to get ponies with large blemishes that aren't documented, and I'm used to dealing with sellers who note things like a neon spot or smooze in the listing.

It seems weird to me not to list those things or photograph them, and then to send an angry e-mail after you get positive feedback with reasonable suggestions. I'm not a big eBay buyer and I never plan to be, so it doesn't really affect me that you blocked me.

However, since you e-mailed me first, and since I left only positive feedback, it is pretty clear that blocking me, leaving non-positive feedback, and posting e-mail on a public forum was retaliation on your part for some basic suggestions, and that's just unprofessional.

Yes, it is a rule to make the forum easier to search through, not to start several threads regarding the same matter at once. But for every new incident a new thread should be started. This old thread had nothing in common with what you are discussing except for the fact that it mentions the same eBay seller. It just gets complicated to read that's all. If you started your own thread about this, it would be easier to know what the thread is about. Maybe lot of people recognizes this thread and knows what it is about, and don't bother checking up on it. But here you are with a whole new story.

Just what I think, I may be wrong. The mods will let us know I guess Smile

As for the two of you, perhaps just agreeing to disagree would be the best thing?

It probably would have been easier to start a new thread instead of digging up this one. I think that either way is fine but personally I would have started a new one since the issue wasn't related.

AngelikaJean I'm sorry that you were disapointed with the ponies but perhaps in the future it may be best when an auction lists a few marks to email the seller asking for more details before bidding. I'm sure most sellers would be more then happy to give you more information and it would save you from future disapointments.

I feel that when positive feedback is left with "Constructive Criticism" , with out first emailing the seller and explaining that you are unhappy, has the same MOTIVES as leaving a negative Feedback. When you do not contact the seller to resolve a issue and instead you jump to leaving a negative feedback or "positive Constructive feedback", you're saying you are ticked off, and you are going to try and Ruin potential business for the seller. Its a Passive aggressive tactic. Feedback is the most important Tool a Seller has. A good seller knows this and will try to do everything to make something right if the buyer is not happy. How would you as a buyer respond to a potential seller who has 3 feedbacks that say" Good, But you should of mentioned ..." especially in the case where Marks were mentioned in the listing.
