We open everything! The one ones I haven't opened so far is Bay Breeze and the winter babies but that is only because I think Bay Breeze is special in her packaging and the winter babies haven't been opened because they will be stocking stuffers for my girls. If I could get another set though I would keep them MOC.

I'm mainly a MIB collector as far as G3s go, but if there is one a really like I get an extra one to open. Since I we have a dirt driveway and alot of dust I still store them in their boxes. I have Sparkleworks & Butterscotch Promo, Snowflake, and now Misty Blue among them.

Otherwise I'm waiting to find them at the thrift stores and save a few bucks. G3s have started showing up more over the last couple months, mainly in good condition.

Generally, I keep them MIB - unless they're babies! o.O I can't seem to keep myself from opening my babies! Lol. I still need the Meijer ones.

I don't believe in keeping ANY toy MIB (unless it's an extra that I plan on selling)!!!!! I start opening my ponies as soon as I get to the car! I can't even wait until I get home. I just have to free them from their plastic prision!

as a collector, i like the idea of MIB ponies (especially those easter and valentine's day ones, omg CUTEST packaging EVER.) but as a toy-lover and little girl at heart... RRRRIIIIPP! *tosses target stickered-package in trash*

i open most of my ponies. my daughter sent me on a guilt trip saying if there in the box they become stinky petes(remember toy story). so we party and play!
