Hmm, actually, she does look more faded blue on this computer. I was on my dad's computer that had the plasma screen, and it makes things look lighter {especially if I have the desk light on since it sort of shines right on the screen}. But she does actually look faded to me on this one.

Still pretty, though! I think she would actually look way more beautiful with a really light blue body, or even white. ;D

I got one just like that in a German lot of ponies, and it is just a light blue (not faded). You say she's marked China? I don't have my SHS lot with me at work right now, so could someone check to see if the US SHS ponies were made in China or were they made in Hong Kong.

My feeling is that you've got yourself a Euro Flowerburst. I've found a few German sweetheart sisters that have bodies with noticeably different shades.

Unfortunately with the haircuts, earring break and other flaws, she's probably not worth more than a few dollars.

I thought they were all made in China by the time the SHSs came out?

Below: My Flowerburst. She is not faded - actually, she's pretty mint. This is normal - at least it is for the UK, LOL I have her MIB too, so I know she's not discoloured.



She is made in China. I know that from the 1987-9 watershed (where you get ponies made in both), all UK sold ponies are then made in China. I don't know as that's the case with the North American line - I know there are a lot of later ones made in HK. But I've never had a Flowerburst from the states, so I've no idea if they're one of the sets.

Well, I remember my parents purchasing my Flowerburst when I was little so she's from the US and she's made in China.
